Event Video for Coventry Village Drum Circle

Thankful to be invited back to Coventry's Drum Circle for the third year in a row... this time with the drone! It's always fun capturing the energy of this beautiful crew. Thanks again to Don Davis for his kindness in welcoming me into the circle.

When working on the same event year after year, it’s always a fun creative challenge to create something unique from previous videos. This year, the event was smaller due to an afternoon rainstorm that hit right before the event. That gave me the opportunity to create more close shots, follow the dancers, and capture the expressions of each participant.

Adding drone to this project added a new element as well! It brought some vibrant colors from the last day of summer and created beautiful context nestled within the Cleveland Height’s Neighborhood, Coventry Village. Shooting on my DJI Mavic 2 Pro, I was able to get some great arial footage of the streetscape and newly renovated Coventry PEACE Park.
