From Day One: Our Brand Film with Buckeye Relief
Some clients feel like family, and Buckeye Relief is one of them.
Our relationship with Buckeye goes all the way back to 2020, when they opened their very first dispensary, Amplify in Coventry Village. I was there to shoot it, and honestly, it was one of the first real video projects I ever did. I was still figuring things out, finding my footing as a videographer, and they trusted me anyway. That meant a lot then, and it still does. Especially when they reached out last spring to discuss another project together.
We've been with them through it all. From the early days of medical cannabis legalization in Ohio, when everything was new and the industry was still finding its shape, to now — as they refresh their brand for the recreational era. Watching them grow has been genuinely exciting, and being invited back to help tell that next chapter of their story was an honor.
For this brand film, I wanted to capture the full picture of who Buckeye Relief really is. That meant going back multiple times, shooting across different days and different strains to show the entire life cycle of their process — from the grow rooms all the way to the shelf. What you see in those two minutes is real. The care, the precision, the culture — it's all there every single day, not just when a camera shows up.
And that culture is something special. These are genuinely good people who love what they do. There's energy in that facility that's hard to fake, and I hope the film captures some of it.
As BR says: “Ohio Proud.” And I’m proud to be a part of their story.
